General Manager of Fabrication Operations
Reports To:
Vice President
and General Manager
Supervises:
Operations
Manager, Division Chief Engineer, Administrative and Controls
Manager
Basic Functions:
To plan and direct operations and administration of
fabrication yard activities
Specific Responsibilities:
- Establishes operation unit’s
objectives, policies and procedures covering the phases
of fabrication yard operations.
- Appraises broad outlook for the
business, including market and customer trends, product
and competitive developments, profit margins and
potentials and capital spending requirements.
- Directs and participates in the
process of acquiring, scheduling and completing work.
- Formulates financial plans and
capital expenditure requests of fabrication yard
operations’ goals and business outlook. Approves and
presents these plans and requests for approval.
- Establishes standards to measure
fabrication yard operations’ performance relative to
sales, profit and return on investment objectives.
- Ensures the financial information
generated by fabrication yard correctly reflects the
financial position on the results of operations of units
in accordance with generally accepted accounting
principles and accounting policies of the company.
- Understands the local laws, custom
and tradition, government procedures, labor attitudes
and makes management decisions which consider these
factors.
- Understands and applies the
motivational factors for offshore multinational
construction employees.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor of Engineering Degree
(Civil / Mechanical).
- 7 – 10 years in offshore
construction industry.

FIELD Engineer (Singapore-Based)
To assist the Operations Engineer with
the planning and coordination of offshore construction work.
- Degree in Civil/Mechanical/
Structural Engineering
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in
offshore construction in a similar capacity.
- Able to write procedures and
interface with clients.
- Must be willing to travel offshore
according to project needs.

ASSISTANT CONSTRUCTION
MANAGER (MIRI-BASED)
To assist the Construction Manager to
control and coordinate all construction activities to ensure
that projects are completed to client’s satisfaction and
meet quality, time and profit targets.
- Degree in Civil
Engineering/Construction Management
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in
offshore construction of pipelines and platforms.
- Previous experience in client
management is mandatory.

coordinate the efforts of the various engineering functions
and client needs.
- Degree in Civil/Mechanical
Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years experience in
offshore project engineering of platforms and pipelines.

Deputy Contracts Engineer (Miri-Based)
To support the Project Manager in the
understanding of contractual terms and conditions which
includes client/contractor obligations, compliance to
insurance requirements, develop supporting arguments for
claims/change orders, identify and follow-up on notices to
client, etc.
- Law and/or Engineering Degree.
- Minimum 10 years experience handling similar
portfolio.
- Good knowledge of regional energy construction
contracting and insurance requirements.

Deputy Project Quality Manager (Miri-Based)
– Malaysian required
To assist the Project Manager in
quality planning of the project, both onshore and offshore
and will be directly responsible for product quality of
project as well as supervise Project Quality Assurance to
achieve product quality standard.
- Engineering degree
- IRCA certified and attended TQM
courses
- 10 – 15 years experience in QA
auditing, 8 of which should be in a supervisory
capacity.
- Previous experience as Lead
Assessors in major projects.
