2006 was a tremendous year of growth and as such has
presented unique challenges for our global
workforce.
As we move into 2007 our primary focus will be on
training, educating and mentoring new and existing
employees to ensure that we are deploying the most
highly skilled employees possible.
To this end we have created an HSES training and
assurance group who is deeply embedded in this
process.
Their mission is to provide services to our offshore
operations with required technical training, OJT,
coaching and mentoring as well various other service
offerings.
As indicated last year we revised our auditing focus
from systems to compliance and as expected this
adjustment has yielded opportunities for
improvement.
This type of auditing focus will continue into ‘07
and beyond.
In addition we added a “Cold Eyes” review process
whereby we cross pollinate our global HSES resources
to other facilities and assets.
This has had an immediate positive impact on
our operations and will continue as we move forward.
Last but not least we have initiated an Enterprise
Risk Program with an objective of implementing a
capability that will allow the company to continue
its critical operations following a major disruption
to its functional capabilities.
It is our intent to have this program in
place during ‘07.
Our collective focus must be on planning our
activities for excellence in execution. Superior
HSES performance is merely a by product of Superior
Execution.
