work by Azerbaijan International Operating Company (AIOC) operated
by BP for Phase 3 development of AIOC's Azeri, Chirag and deepwater

the Caspian Sea.
The existing Phase 2 contract for offshore pipelay in the West
and East Azeri fields awarded to MCCI by AIOC has been extended
to include engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation,
and pre-commissioning of two interfield 30" oil export pipelines
and one 28" gas pipeline between the Phase 3 production, compression,

support the hook up of the Shah Deniz TPG500 platform in 100 meters
of water depth. This operation is scheduled to commence in April
2006.
"The Shah Deniz field is one of the largest accumulations
of offshore gas in the world. We are proud to be associated with
this world-class project, for which we are currently carrying out
the subsea gas pipeline installation," commented Dan Houser,

than 700,000 man-hours will be expended on this project, and approximately
75% of this work will be completed by local Azerbaijani craftsmen."
