J. Ray McDermott, S.A. (“J. Ray”), a subsidiary of McDermott International, Inc. (“McDermott”) (NYSE: MDR), announces the appointment of Bruce Crager as Vice President – Subsea to develop J. Ray’s existing subsea capabilities and experience to a fully integrated suite of services to increase the company’s activities in the subsea market.

An industry veteran of more than 35 years, Bruce has significant experience in evaluating and providing field development solutions based on floating production systems and subsea production equipment. His primary focus will be on the development and leadership of our new subsea business unit, which is an important part of J. Ray’s long term strategy for growth.”

Prior to joining J. Ray, Crager held positions with INTEC Engineering where he was president and CEO; prior to that he held executive positions with ABB Offshore Systems and Oceaneering International. 

Crager holds a BS in Ocean Engineering from Texas A and M and an MBA from the University of Houston.  He is a member of several professional advisory boards and has multiple publications and numerous patents to his name.
