Scope:
- JRME provided detailed engineering and procurement assistance for this drilling and gas production tripod.
- The platform was installed in 545' of water (a record, at the time of installation, for a drilling/production tripod).
- Facilities were designed to process 60 mmscfd of gas.
- JRME also developed bid packages for fabrication, transportation, and installation.

Technology:
- JRME performed detailed design of the overall control system for an unmanned offshore platform in the Gulf of Mexico that included an RTU system. The RTU and platform control system was designed to monitor platform performance, provide emergency shutdown, and provide for remote shutdown and remote startup of selected process equipment. Communication from the RTU to the central control system is via a radio communication system. RTU input/output count was approximately 305 total points.
- JRME prepared the control system design, design specifications, inquiry requisitions, purchase specifications, and purchase requisitions; performed technical and commercial supplier quotation evaluations and factory acceptance tests; selected/recommended supplier selection; and reviewed certified supplier documentation.
