Scope/Description:

  • The Atlantis topsides consist of three modules, the Production and Compression Modules, each weighing about 5,000 tons, and a Generation Module weighing 4,000 tons. Equipment consists of electrical generating equipment and oil and gas processing equipment. The three modules will be installed on a moored semi-submersible hull.

Innovations:

  • Atlantis is one of four major BP deepwater projects for the Gulf of Mexico under construction at the company’s Morgan City facility which is under exclusive use for BP.
