Description:

  • Offshore installation

Scope:

  • Lump sum contract for pipelay barge upgrades, the transportation and offshore installation of 116 miles 30” oil pipeline, and 116 miles 28” gas trunkline, from the Azeri field to Sangachal landfall and an 7.1 miles 18” pipeline from Chirag-1 to the Compressor and Water Injection Platform (C and WP).
  • During the pipelay contract, significant local Azerbaijani infrastructure will be utilized including key marine support vessels - provided by Kaspmornefteflot (KMNF), SOCAR’s marine operations group. The pipelay barge Israfil Huseynov is free-issued to MCCI by AIOC through their Charter Party Agreement with SOCAR.
  • During the pipelay contract an estimated 1.05 million man-hours will be expended, with local Azerbaijanis contributing approximately 65% of the total man-hour count.
