• Fabrication, assembly, hookup and commissioning

Scope:

• Lump sum contract for the fabrication, assembly, hook-up and commissioning of an integrated drilling/quarters/production deck – Central Azeri Platform (CA)
• The topsides fabrication work will be done primarily in Azerbaijan utilizing the infrastructure, equipment and labor of SOCAR’s Baku Deep Water Jacket Factory (BDJF) fabrication facility.
• The contract also includes upgrading plant and equipment at the BDJF yard before actual construction of the topsides can begin.
• Over 3.5 million man-hours will be expended on this project – and approximately 80% of this work will be completed by local Azerbaijani craftsmen.
