Description:

Scope:

  • Standard lump sum contract with J. Ray McDermott responsible for installation of offshore portion and performing tie-in with onshore portion.

Innovations:

  • S-Lay with CRC auto welding for 30"
  • Standard S-Lay and manual welding for 18" and 20" laterals
  • Automatic U.T. from Shaw for NDT on 30"
  • 30" riser installation in 775' by CalDive's semi DP.DSV Uncle John

Technology:

  • Modified JRM's plow to bury 30" in shallow water (<40')
