Description:

  • 12 skirt pile drilling and production platform with accommodations for 74 to support both production and drilling crews.

Scope:

  • Separate contracts, with JRM Engineering being responsible for detailed structural and facilities engineering.
  • JRM fabrication responsible for jacket and deck construction.
  • JRM Marine responsible for installation of drilling and production platform including template over pre-drilled wells.


Innovations:

  • DB50 / SLC5000 combined 5000 ton lift making it the heaviest in the Gulf of Mexico.

Technology:

  • MHU 195 and MHU 1700 underwater hammers
  • Specialized conductor work deck
  • Set template / stab and drive piles with DB50 #2 block
  • Grout density probe
