Scope:
- Lump sum contract for the fabrication of two three-level
drilling decks (NKF1 and NKF2) and a four-leg jacket. The
jacket was fabricated using the “bent” type
assembly and the decks using a “pancake” deck
framing assembly.
Innovations:
- At the time, the 6,834ST jacket was the largest offshore
structure to be built in the Middle East.
