Technology:
- Use of File Transfer Protocol (FTP) cut drawing review
from weeks to days or hours.

- The use of a small management team by the owners, integrated
with key team members from the contractors' organizations
and classification society, resulting in completion of the

Description:
- First use of spar as a floating base for production operations.
Scope:
Oryx - CNG contract, with J. Ray McDermott being responsible
for:
- Detailed design, construction engineering and procurement
for topside facility to be installed on a spar platform
- Installation engineering for the spar hull and detailed
design of the riser buoyancy cans
- Coordinated with ABS for classification and certification
of topside facility
- Transporting the spar hull from Ingalls shipyard to location
- Upending and mooring the spar on location
- Fabrication and installation of the 3,200 s.t. deck
- Performing hull to deck hookup
- Precommissioning installation of two flexible pipeline
risers
