Description:

  • Offshore Installation

Scope:

  • Lump sum contract to supply 48 piles of 63” diameter, 2.4” thick and 98ft long; mobilization of marine equipment and installation of 26 piles to a depth of 66ft at two sites.

Innovation:

  • First of a kind. The first offshore piling project undertaken by J. Ray in the North Caspian Sea - it had to be completed before the onset of the winter, as the piles were required to protect the world’s largest posted drilling barge from winter ice flows.
