Description:
|
Scope:
- Lump sum contract to supply 48 piles of 63” diameter,
2.4” thick and 98ft long; mobilization of marine equipment
and installation of 26 piles to a depth of 66ft at two sites.
Innovation:
- First of a kind. The first offshore piling project undertaken
by J. Ray in the North Caspian Sea - it had to be completed
before the onset of the winter, as the piles were required
to protect the world’s largest posted drilling barge
from winter ice flows.
